When is Shark Frenzy 2006?

It's supposed to be held as close to 9/28 as can be every year, but has been closer to Holloween the last couple years. This year is not locked in yet. I am not the Chairman this year, so I can't tell you exactly when it will be.

Fenzy seems to be coordinated around the PCA Potomac seasonal get together which is Halloween
so in reality it's a 1 day 928 event as Sunday is a PCA event and open to all models

The last 2 out of 9 Frenzies, the event was mingled with the PCA Holloween Rally. That doesn't mean it will always be so. However, considering we also have a Friday reception and a full schedule Saturday, golf outing option besides rally Sunday, etc., I hardly consider it a 1 day 928 event. Kudos to Larry Gunter who was experimenting, trying to grow the event. I am happy to see owners of other models who come out to check out our cars and get interested. The reaction I got from many of them was quite positive. More people to check out our cars, maybe decide it's a great 2nd Porsche ownership option, and more people wiling to restore and maintain these great cars. Win win I say.

I'll keep that on my calendar. Make sure you bump this the week of the event. I never know what my final schedule will be until the week is upon me.

Who plans to be passing through Atlanta on Thursday and from where? I'll try to come up with a location that's somewhat convenient for everyone. It would help to know about what time you think you'll be in the area as well. I'm guessing late morning or early afternoon would be best. We wouldn't want our sharks to suffer the torture of rush hour traffic in Atlanta.

At this point I plan on flying into Atlanta on Friday AM..EARLY. Although i may now go into knoxville...checking flights
I had priced driving out and having my car shipped but at 2200miles each way and 3.00 gallon..hotels..food...time. Just too long and too $$$.
