Oil pressure maxxed out.
My oil pressure gauge is reading almost 4/4 then when I blip the throttle it maxx's out. Im thinking some sort of electrical gremlin. Any experience here?

The 928 gauges are extremy inaccurate. As song as they give you a reading, don't worry about what they show....as long as it'n not 0 and the ! is flashing!
If this problem just started to occur, I suspect the oil pressure sending unit to be at fault.
And yes, the oil pressure gage should read 5 when the engien is revving up.

Since there is a difference between the idle and higher rpms reading, then it is probably fine....typically when they fail they default to 5 bar all the time and don't move. Does the warning flash when it goes above 5 bar? Also what weight/type of oil?
