Ditto!! Those look great on there, and the stance is perfect from a looks standpoint. It's probably too low from a safety standpoint, but it looks great. Just be careful going over speed bumps, objects/debris in the road, etc..

There is no rubbing, and the car has a stiff track setup on 928 Motorsports Koni Reds, etc. Quite pleased with the ride and handling. There is an 8 point cage that has stiffened the chassis. J

Oh wow, so she's definitely not stock. LOL. It's very nice. BTW, welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome. Sold my last 928 back in 2004. So, I've been without for 15 years. Back in. This was "found" in a parking garage after the owner passed and his son inherited, then parked. I was able to talk him into selling me this 85, there is also an 88 black on black 5sp with Fikse wheels that I am also trying to reacquaint with the red one.

This guy has the coolest wheels IMO.... they're like a modern take on the classic phone dial. Does anyone know where I can buy these at ?

Chuck Schreiber 06-26-2019 10:01 AM

Augment Wheels makes them.
The guy I sold my GTS to put them on the car recently.
Also,
Joe here in DFW is having some 18 inch Cup 1's custom built for his GTS as well.

Very cool. Can't believe they didn't wash the mud off the 928 in the photos on their site though.

Ha! No Doubt!
I drove that car in the rain 1 time during 10 yrs of ownership, never in the mud...

How long would it take to wipe that off the car before they took the pic for their website showcasing those killer wheels...
