Default Where to buy GTS mirrors?

I checked 928intl's site and don't see them. Anyone know a place to buy a set ( inclusive of ALL parts needed ) of GTS mirrors? Not looking to buy them today, but in the spring hopefully.

Hi there.

Of course they don't have them. It seems that no one wants to stock thems since they aren't very profitable. However, we have them in stock. We sell more sets than anyone, even the network of the U.S. Porsche dealers. Give us a call they are $469.95 everyday when we don't run out. We can even paint to match your colors and assemble if needed. A few guys off the list have purchased them from us and been very happy. Ask around, but I suspect that some people will chime in here for us and the quality of the painting that we do.

Thanks,

Garrity

Garrity
Does the Aero mirrors kit replace everything from the door up? My old style mirrors are heavily chiped, including the bases that attach to the doors?

How much does it cost to paint them? A standard color (guards red) or course. Also do you have mirror bras in stock too?
Thanks

Garrity,
what's the cost for painting them?
do you only do standard colors or do you offer the "odd" colors as well and is there a diff in cost for the paint?

Hey guys, I just got my aero mirrors from Garrity the other day. I opted to get them painted, which took a while longer, but I think it was worth it. The kit has everything, bases, wiring connectors, glass, everything. The paint job was very nice, cost an extra $100 (Guards Red). On my 82, I painted them myself and it still cost me about $100 (Chiffon White), but I think their paint job is a bit better in quality vs. my home job, so I'm happy with the results. Sorry, I don't have pictures - but it was worth it.

Any of the 928 suppliers can get them for you, you just have to pick up the phone and ask.

I got one set from 928 Specailists and one set from Garrity and had both sets painted by them. Dave just hasn't sent me the wiring harness for them yet!?! LOL

I know his telepathy doesn't work all the way to Alaska, something to due with sun spots or something.

Here is a pic:

If its 100 bucks for Motorsport ot paint your mirrors, then that is really good pricing. It would be 100 bucks down here to get paco to buy the "material", let alone Prep, prime it and paint it.

That's what I thought. It was kind of a no brainer. But guards red is kinda a standard 928 color which might be keeping the price down.

Well, I mean all reds are not created equal.

I did it the cheap-*** way for the 78, as Aero is only going to go on the 89 (though that may change) - I painted the entire flag mirror in body color including the rubber part.

Actually we do have them and our price is $449 (has been for a while)
If you put the word "AERO" in our search feature you will find them.

Metallic painting is extra, but can't recall off-hand how much extra.

Does that include glass Mark? Ours are complete, ready to paint or assemble if you opted to have us paint them. I even include a simple wiring diagram for non-memory S4's if that's what you have. They can be converted for use with earlier cars if need be. There is a good writeup in the 928 Forum on replacing them in a memory system.

Standard Porsche colors are $100 for painting, metallic and off color are $120. We have done a set in Granite Green (Rixter!) that came out beautiful.
