I took my car out for a spin (hehe) about and hour and a half ago and must say that it's a hell of a lot faster than the green car. My car is no longer for sale.

Mine is the pic without timing belt cover or ball of wires. Clean factory wiring vs PO hack jobs.

I'm not. I'm out. I decided it wasn't worth stressing myself out trying to get the money and I didn't want to sell my car. It will be interesting to see where the car ends up.

Somebody asked the seller if the dash is carcked and he said no. In fact the dash and pod are cracked. There is a crack down the center of the pod and 3 or 4 small cracks in the dash.

All the tires are 225/50-16... but three wheels are 16x7 and one is 16x8.

wow..I do have to say it looks pretty good ...like the seller says...probably a good deal if it can be had for 5k....relatively clean underneath and the interior is in OK shape...tires and wheels..no biggie...

Good luck to whoever gets it...

I wouldn't turn this into a track beast. If I could afford both, I'd street drive the green one and track mine. This is a much nicer car than mine.

This one is going to re-appear in Pennsylvania...E and H Motorsport (or whatever they are called)..and go for 2 or 3k more.....(due to the addition of a gallon of armor all )

Oh well...I did try...for a little bit to get it...but the wife would have had a fit..haha..

With the fact that the car has been rearended, the wiring is a mess, some electrical stuff doesn't work, it has an unknown TB/WP history, there were more scratches in the paint than visible in the pictures, the dash and pod are cracked, it needs at least 1 wheel and probably new tires (although mismatched, condition wasn't bad), and the spoiler is destroyed, I don't know that E&H is going to make much on the car.

$4200 would have been a good deal. Maybe E&H will lose his *** on it, and I'll have another shot at it when I have the money.

haha.....

I bet it will come back up with "mint" paint, really really low miles....and fully documented history haha..

There are others out there..just keep watching.....they come out of the woodwork at the oddest times and the oddest places..

Good luck,

Tom

It looks like it went for $6,100. You looked at it, was that a fair price?

I'd say $5000-5500 because of the unknowns, electrical, paint, and accident. If you ignore the unknowns (especially TB/WP) and accident, $6100 is still probably a good deal.

Looks like this one has resurfaced in MN. I obtained some pics from the seller and it looks to be in about the same conditions as it was when sold four years ago. His ad says that he has done some repairs, so might be in a little better shape. I'd be interested around his starting bid, but don't want to low ball him (can't offer too much more until I take the bar and land a job).

Here's the link if anyone is interested:
