Default pulled out the old G-Tech

I decided to see what the new to me 1980 928 5 spd would do with the G-Tech that I bought 9 years ago so my highschool friends and I could test our then porsche 944's, 914's, bmw 2002's, GTI's, e30 m3's and old porsche 911's. I didnt want to abuse my clutch too much so I only did two runs. Both of my starts were pretty bad too much wheel spin on one and I bogged on the other but my best time was 0-60=6.9 sec and 1/4 mile in 15.33 at 95.33. Im curious what others have run in older cars????

Sounds about right. I think that the factory number to 60 was 7.2

Lane
That seems just about right....since most early cars are typically around 6.8-7.0 0-60 and around a 15.5 1/4.... My 88 S4 auto did a 5.98 & 14.52 @101.8. On a G-Tech Pro.

My stock 80 3-sp AT was 0-60 in 8 seconds. 1/4 mile was like 16 sec @ 89 or something. I turboed the car with two K-24. After that it did 0-60 in 5.2 sec and 1/4 mile in 13.6 @ 108...a nice improvement.
