Where is the outside temp sensor located giving signal to the outside temp meter on the digital dash?
Is it the same sensor used for the climate control in the left front wheel well?

It's in the drivers mirror. Look on the bottom of the mirror and you can see the bottom of the probe sticking out a small hole.

Thanks that was quick,
have been searching the WSM and can not find it.
Is it the same location 89-95?
Do you know the colour on the cables, need to check for continuity.

On the 90-91 the 2 wires for the temp sensor are Blue-Green and Brown-Green. Hope this helps.
Edit: That's at the temp sensor... don't know if it stays the same color up to the pod.

I have a -40 display.... if you find the route the wires take, could you post here? I've got as far as where they leave the door

Minus 40 reading equals cut wire - most common site is in trunking as leaves door and enters car. Fatigue often breaks the wires and the temp sensor seems to be the one that goes first. No idea why, but that's what happened to mine.
