Let's not forget that the Scarface 928 had special modifications....
bullet-proofed glass and panels
CB radio, etc.
My point is...it's a very rare vehicle.
Probably a bit heavy, though, with all the bullet-proofing.

I believe that was said in the movie 'They live' by Dowdy Roddy Piper (the wrestler). And the quote goes:

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ***. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

Scareface is on ALL THE TIME on Spike or at least once every couple of months. Every time there is a holiday coming up, it’s either a Bond, Van Damne marathon or its’ Scareface. Spike must have some fetish for these movies.

So what happened to the original question on the thread

Back in the early 80's, when wresting was getting popular in Memphis, there was a couple of guys that called themselves "The Fabulous Ones". They did a music video and in this video they showed off their 928. Had to be a 78 or 79 with phonedials. What pissed me off is halfway thru the video, they were trying to look cool and did a pose with their boots on the fenders. Anyway, unless you grew up in the Memphis area, you wouldn't have have a clue who I'm talking about. The funny thing is that in an interview with Jerry Lawler, he said that particular car had a champagne cooler installed in the rear console. Bling bling.

I remember a commercial running in NY about a radio station 99.1 WPLR Rock.. I believe it was that station that featured a porsche 928 racing to a brooklyn dock trying to catch a boat departing.. it was a very short tv ad but had a great 928 driving clip ..any one remember such an ad in the tri state Ny,NJ CT area..?
