I like it right there, didn't want to relocate 14 pin and large hole, not a fan of hidden filters that are hard to get to either.

With that said I was speaking w/ Darin N. a week ago (we have the same setup) and he's offered any advice / info he can give. He did make an access plate to get to his in fender Air filter so he doesn't need to remover the entire fender liner.

I'm thinking I just need to shield it a bit more (plastic box?), I have an Air temp sensor that will be installed soon to actually see what I'm drawing in and how much the temp drops when moving.

Thanks for the input Imo

Dave

Looking great Dave!!! I am so jealous. I'm so close to being ready to drop the engine in, I can taste it. :-) Hopefully it'll start and run ok, then it'll be time to Shark Tune. Numerous changes compared to what it's last configuration was so I'm sure what tune he had is no longer valid.

I like the filter setup, just need a nice shroud to go around it. Should be easy enough to make something. slick for that location.

I can whip something up if you want to have one printed. It may be a bit large for my printer, but it could be sent out easily.

Cool, I was thinking of a half box, similar to the Cold Intake Kits w/ open top, just need to cover the bottom, back and the dead side with some air space there too.

I can follow up w/ you Hans with the dimensions once I make one out of cardboard

Thank you,

Dave

You're very welcome my friend! Been so much going on in my world that I haven't had time to do hardly anything in the last 2 months. That should change this weekend with any luck. Luckily no trees fell on it during Irma last night. It was just a tropical storm by the time it got to us, thank God.

Hopefully Monday you'll start seeing pics of some progress.

Speedtoys, I hope you make a fantastic recovery, and boost the heck outa that thing!

Two quick questions for the group.

1. Can I run two new wires to the LH and EZF for the TSP (idle and WOT) ?
I'd supply engine Ground to the TSP from under the hood.

Note: the EZF only would need the Idle wire as the WOT is discoed inside the connector per 2 BAR MAP install.

2. Any good reason to keep the Diag Plug in the front of the Water bridge?
I'd never would use it with the Shark Tuner for doing O2 adjustment,
it would clean up the install as a not needed unused fixture/wiring.

Thoughts?

As Dave mentioned, I got to take my GT out for a quick romp! HOLY FVCK that car is fast! Had the cops come by about 20 min later asking about it... I guess I pissed a couple people off. Woops!

Dave,

1. Yes. You can do this. I would run it temporarily first to make sure this fixes the issue before going through all the work of running them through the firewall, etc.

2. Not sure why you would need it...

Full size functional prototype of the throttle inlet linkage.

It will get bolted to the supercharger and triple checking firewall clearance tomorrow before placing purchase orders.

There are a lot of custom parts in this assembly.

The full 3D viewable assembly is here:

I know it's just a printed test part, but it's still a thing of beauty! Hans you truly make 928 jewelry.

LOL, what _isn't_ a custom part? The washers under the cap screws?

Beautiful work, Hans!

Those parts look great Han's, nice work

I wanted to give a progress update, I was able to plumb and get my Inter-cooler connected up over the past weekend including a switch to run the pump.
However once the engine got up to temp, I started to see water out the exhaust (two small 4" puddles.

I then drained the distilled water out of the reservoir tank and used my mitivac to push it out the Intercooler from the top to the rear inlet.

All is as it was before, two steps forward one back

Other than getting the Shark Tuner MK1 all set up for tuning, I'm shelving this project, will pull the engine this winter go through it and start fresh in the spring.

Current state is drive-able, but only local and cool days.
