LSD Gearbox & S4 Brembos for sale
I'm going to be buying a parts car and won't need these parts for my other car now.
The gearbox is an '83/'84 US 5-speed G28/08 with a Limited Slip Differential. I don't know about the condition first hand but the party I bought it from said it was in working condition. Asking $1000 obo plus shipping.
The brakes are a complete set of front and rear S4 4-piston Brembo Calipers. I just bought them on ebay but now have a line on an entire S4 suspension setup with brakes that I'm probably going to buy instead. I should receive them in the next couple days and will take some pics then. They are supposed to be in good working condition as they were removed from a running, driving car. I am asking what I paid $600 plus shipping.
You can email me at mvanwyk@sbcglobal.net with questions. I'll get some pics of the gearbox tomorrow and of the S4 calipers as soon as I receive them.
Moderators, I am a Rennlist member, I didn't know if there was a protocol to listing this stuff for sale so I wanted to clarify that.
Thanks all!

Here is a pic of the internals. I pulled the inspection cover off to look inside and I have to say everything looks really good from what I can see, I would almost hazard a guess that this gearbox was rebuilt in the past, but I don't know for sure. Here's one pic but you can email me at mvanwyk@sbcglobal.net for more. Thanks!

from the fresh looking yellow paint, it appears at least the 5th and 1st gear synchro (if not all of them) were replaced recently. the stop block on the 5th gear also looks very sharp with no wear, so i would think those were replaced along with the synchros. either that or this is a very low mileage tranny.
as much as you can tell from a photo, looks good. good luck.

Thanks for your input Jim, that's kind of what I was thinking looking at it as well, the gears have nice sharp edges on them with no significant wear or any signs of grinding. This should be a bolt-in and drive gearbox from what I can see.
