Hi Tom,

>looks like i'll have 3 blown cars shortly. for you pacnw guys, barney will be getting this kit.
>awesome job dave.

Thanks Tom, and double thanks for your vote of confidence, serial # 0001 already has your name on it!
Currently the next lowest serial # available is 0005 :-)

On a personal note to everyone, I can't thank you enough for the comments, it means a lot to me!!

David great idea to have serial numbers on the kits that way when one pops up on Ebay it will be easy to authenticate.

Hi Jim,

>David I could send over Shadow my Whippet bitch ... Thor would tell her EVERYTHING !

>Even if he could NEVER catch her !

I don't know, he is getting pretty fast... although he hasn't been able to catch me in the 90GT ever since I have our Twin Screw Kit installed as I smoke those 12.5" wide S-02As all the way up my driveway .....

>Will the stock cruise control still work?

EVERYTHING works just as it did, I wouldn't have it any other way... Oh wait there is one thing, I am using the factory hole for the headlight washer pump for the intercooler pump (direct fit) so headlight washers are gone, sorry! This also allows me to use the headlight washer pumper wiring and relay socket for the IC pump so NO wiring is needed for the IC pump, pretty much plug and play :-) FYI, IC pump is always on with ignition

I will say it PULLS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN from 1500-2000 up in ANY gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/QUOTE]

DR
Thanks for the prompt response...of course I found the belt-pricing info AFTER I read the post better...I was too excited by the pictures to read it!!!

Using the washer is a great idea...especially since mine doesn't work anyway (broken plastic hose elbow)....hmmm Where did I leave that spare $7k?

Hi Guys,

Randall just finished the second generation rear cover for me and with a few more tweaks it will be up to production specs.. It is great having our new big bender and shears so we can make all this stuff on site and he is getting dang fast at making this stuff for me.. this one went from pencil marks on a big sheet of foam board to this cover in under an hour!!

Note the sides now come down around the air tubes etc. Also the small hole on the drivers side is where the remote fuel pressure control **** will be located

FYI, it is not polished yet.

Starting to think about a nice molded carbon fiber version of the rear cover also...... any CF gurus out there that can help me?

I know for certain that I would be interested in the air intake and dual TB kit; however, DR states that his autorotor sits quite a bit farther away from the firewall.

Do you think it could be made to fit the earlier Keel kits? I always thought the air intake was the crudest part of the install, with no easy solution...before now. Maybe a stopgap would be to install one of those cyclonic filters inline with the current, larger intake hoses we're running.

Can we get a picture without the cover to help gauge how much room is taken up back there by the maf and other goodies? I assume the blow off valve is also back there somewhere...

What's in the black can to the left of the cover, above the washer filler neck in the most recent picture?

It might be nice if the cover where more rounded, to give the impression of the original airbox lid?

DR
The "new" cover looks really good...maybe a custom powdercoat or anodized colors? The real crest sets it off nicely too! CF would be really trick but probably pretty expensive too?
