Hey Nicole, I was at Soundwave in San Carlos yesterday and Dave said to say thanks for all the 928 business you've directed his way. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch the stereo in my car besides Dave. The guy really knows his stuff.

Howdy Bill...

They were a little more $$$ but I wanted to go with something simple and non adjustable...

I have hit bottom twice so I decided to go with new springs and shocks... The cadillac action will probably go away with better dampening... but maybe stiffer springs will help too... The progressives I used are rated as pretty heavy. Marc has mentioned that the soft part of the rate is not doing much on a heavier car like a 928... Though I imagine that the softer rate has some effect over the bumps in the turns... helping to keep the rubber planted....

the ride height was supposed to be lower but I think that it looks the same because my car had worn out everything!!! So I am pleased with the height..

I am no expert though and have not gotten to play with it for long... When I see you next you can drive my car and see what you think...

I am going to concentrate on cleaning under fenders and fixing an oil leak on my oil filler neck...

My weddng looms and the Old Red 86.0 is to be the Just married car!!!

Oh, cool! I hope they stay in business for a long time - I haven't been there in a long time, but my experiecne with them was positive in all respects.

Yup, he knows his stuff alright. He did my Boxster CD into my 928 and it works perfectly. Took him only a few minutes to decipher the various harnesses I brought with me and had it installed in a flash. I would recommend him.

I hadn't been there in two years since he first rewired the mess left by the previous owner so I was hoping they were still doing well. It turns out business is booming...the last two Saturdays I was there they were working on 3 cars at the same time and he has a partner now to handle the business end of it.

I think there were always two partners who owned that business. I found them when searching for a Blaupunkt Toronto CD-Radio, and they impressed me with how much they knew about the 928. They said they had done many 928s before mine, and I have all reasons to believe it. This is a solid business based on expertise and honesty, rather than on BS. Next time I need any car stereo work done, I will go there, no doubt.

But let's not forget this thread was about recognizing the great work DEVEK did on Loren's car...
