This is a great chance to own a one of a kind collector car that will just increase in value every year.
This quote makes me think of P.T. Barnum.

Wasn't his car used in an ebay scam once before?

$25,000 stereo system WTF? How can you even fit $25,000 worth of stereo equipment into a 928. Most people struggle with one subwoofer

You can see the Pheonix Gold logo on that amplifier. Here is a link to tons of Pheonix gold amps and most are under $300 . He must have gold bars stuffed into that speaker box. link

It is a nice looking car though. I am a sucker for a nice widebody. Everytime I see one I start to daydream about having one. I do think the "rocket" floormats and the signatures on the doors look tacky but maybe this would be a great collector piece for a baseball fan.

How much does a Stroesk widebody sell for without having been owned by a baseball legend? I know they don't come up for sale often but someone here has to know.

"The new owner did a total refurbishment on the car, new tires, wheel resto, new batt, all gaskets/seals,all new hoses,etc..receipts over 35k documented..."

Think that included a rebuilt torque tube? The car's an auto. Guess where I'm going with this thought...?

Strosek used Jaquemond parts or Jaquemond makes Strosek parts. I forget which it is... chicken or the egg situation either way.

With a GTS rear bumper cover, maybe the $$$ spent on the car was due to an accident??? The conversion must have been done prior to '92 before GTS rear reflectors existed.

How much ego does it take to plaster the car with all that crap? I hope he doesn't complain about the papparazi.

Looks like the perfect car for someone who doesn't know who they are.

That Clemens guy must have been a real modest chap to travel incognito like that.

Carl,
Its not a GTS rear cover - bottom is different - but clearly uses some GTS parts so agree - when did this get done - was probably different initially?
unless the original conversion was done later than '87.

I though Strosek just did new work though....

Looks like a nice car - but engine looks totally stock (is it?) and the Clemens touches I could do without - tacky!
