I've driven several GTSs that felt slower than my GT. True running condition makes a lot of difference.

If I'm not mistaken the Buy-It-Now is gone?......now its fair game and I don't think it will end up that cheap if truly a nice car. Someone should have checked it out fast and maybe done the BIN.....always a gamble though.

He was already offered 18k by three people and passed. It will sell for at least the lower mid twenties.

Good luck.

Rough around the edges for low twenties, eh? I wonder what a nearly perfect one will go for????

Seth , who else is selling a 91 GT with less than 70,000 miles ? This thread and resultant interest may have increased the owners expectations. A week from now an offer of 18 k might just sound real good depending on the outcome of this auction. Playing used car dealer is not everyone's idea of having a good time.

The low 20's estimate was thinking the car was pretty clean. Your idea of rough around the edges may be different than the posters.

Rough around the edges = needs detailing?
Rough around the edges = needs paint?
Etc...

pics sent, thanks for posting, hope this helps someone around here out with their decision, by rough i meant, i noticed that the windows seem to be tinted blue and drivers window is scratched (could just be the tint), weatherstripping is cut around drivers door, front bumper is discolored, hood doesn't align correctly. just things i noticed looking quickly.

Hi Mike,
Could you share 'em with me? I contacted Efren, but he has not sent me anything yet.

Thanks,
Bill

Laredo's awfully tough on engine compartments.

Here's a plastic surgeon who, I'll guaranty you, has not LOOKED under his hood in the last 14 years. He's interested in a pretty ride and takes it to "his mechanic" for servicing. He's not a 928 guy in the Rennlist sense and just wants what it's worth. It's not going to be a "Rennlister" car until a Rennlister gets hold of it, but it has all the potential in the world and PROBABLY no deferred maintennence.

Probably a good call Ernest. The 91 GT I just brought back from DC, Doctor had owned and had everything totally kept up by a mechanic who knew what he was doing. Totally stock and in beautiful shape. I would guess this GT is totally stock and never been tracked. A little cleaning up will do wonders. Still a $20k car in my eyes. To me the 91 GT is the best of them all.

Looks like it has a non-stock stereo. This means a 99% likelihood of a butchered radio wiring harness and under-console electrical gremlins in the wings.

Interior temperature sensor is not original - I think - as it is black and not interior color. If so, likely that the dash was cracked when the original was incorrectly removed.
