Default New Product - 928 Racing Spring Perches

I have these finished and posted on our website now.
http://www.928motorsports.com/parts/hypercoil.php

Really intended for the racer guys, or a serous suspension tuner.

The primary benefits from making this change are:
  • A significant unsprung weight savings
  • Over 100 readilly-available spring rate combinations in this size
  • Provides more negative-side tire clearance for those that need it.

These were a number of months in development, and they are a PERFECT mate to the Porsche 928 upper spring perches - as we strated with a OEM spring perch and cast a model directly from them. We machine them from a single large 6061 Aluminum billet, then have them hard-anodized for toughness.

There has already been quite a bit of discussion in these threads about them and related topics - you may also want to read these threads:

Anybody use Hypercoil front coil springs?

"Smaller spring diameter allows for wider tyres" - and for easier fitting/removal when threading through the front upper A arm.

Very Nice job!

Are you only selling them as a 4 corner set or will there be pricing for pairs?

You know, I thought about that. I did not list them that way because I couldn't guess how the car would handle with say, Eibachs in the rear and these in the front. But maybe you have a different idea.

Sure - I'll sell them per axle if you like.

I have already had a fella call - he wants the spring perches and the instructions without springs. I can do that for $229.00

"How easy or hard are these to install?"

I have just posted the downloadable installation guide for this product here:
http://www.928motorsports.com/install.html

You can read the installation instructions for this product and see for yourself.

These would work fine on the street, you get to select the spring rate you want from cush ride to teeth jarring.

Carl,

Could you elaborate on the widest wheel with offset that could be fitted to a shark with these smaller diameter springs? I have an 86' shark.

Hey Carl, I just ordered the starter and solenoid from you yesterday, how do you come up with the ideas for all these great parts?
