My car has the phone console like in the picture minus the phone,
my seat back releases are black instead of white,
my car had a phone antenna and I swapped it to a later GT type since it now had a hole in the roof.
If you look at the picture it appears the yellow car has a black antenna see it sticking up?
This picture also shows this car having the square mirrors.

This picture was taken around spring or summer 1988, so the square mirrors are not a surprise.
This is certainly the Frankfurt car, because the instruments pod seems to be also white leather covered.

My pod is also white,
I had a custom pod cover made out of black leather and fiberglass at an interior shop.
this was done so to reduce the glare,
as when the sun hits the white leather it reflects off the windshield and makes for a difficult viewing field.
The pod cover I have is a piece that just sits on the top and and can be lifted off , its a pretty trick piece.

Interesting. I would be curious to know if the Frankfurt 928 also had a phone console.

Interesting that the car is owned by a Dutch person, but registered in Sweden (according to the plate shown), and the photos look as if they were taken in Sweden as well.

I did not see this car in Frankfurt - I saw it the following January at a local show in Stuttgart.

Great back story Stan. After chatting with you all these years, I never heard the story before. Your car is special on so many levels. In the evening, with the street lights shining down on it, it looks like "electric butter". That's how I refer to that special color.

"Electric Butter," I love that! There are a lot of uncommon colors that are uncommon for a pretty obvious reason: They're just odd. This one is different...one of the most gorgeous and unique 928 colors I've ever seen (and this is just from pictures).
