Default 5 series is boxy, narrow and high...(compared to the 928)

Fat Bully came home today after spending time away in various workshops over the last three and a half years, pulled it in under the carport next to my daily driver - a 540i 6 speed manual. Walked up to the gate and looked at these two parked side by side. Man, that Porsche is wide and low. The BMW almost looks stupid next to it...

Doesn't handle stupid though, does it. Are you liking your new/ old ride?

Well, I really like the 8-series Bimmer, though!

Took these pics late this afternoon but they didn't come out nice, it was too dark already. I'll snap some more once I have the rear wing installed and cleaned up and neatened up some issues. (ignore the duct tape on the rear hatch )

Very nice, I like the look of the rear just the way it is, without the wing.

Man, that looks great and yes the sedan though nice does look rather pedestrian sitting there next to it.

Nice. The wide/low look of a 928 is great and you made it even better!

Ah, yet another use for duct tape! What does that bring the count up to?
