Original Fit Interiors Carpet
I just got my order from Original Fit Interiors. I went with domestic carpet, knowing that sometime down the road I'll go with the real deal, but didn't want to make the mistake with $700 carpet. For $250 and 2 weeks of waiting I got a huge box of carpet, cut, edged and ready to be installed.
The only problem is that there is no map to the car to tell where the pieces go.
Has anyone done this process recently and taken any good pictures of the pieces before they went in?

1 piece of advice. There are 20+ pieces, so resist the urge to remove the old and toss it. Match it up as you take it out. At the very least save the old and label it.

I think I was going to try and take photos of everything. One-by-one and create some sort of tutorial and manual for those who follow.
The carpet looks great and I can't wait to see what it looks like in the car.

K,
Did this with that carpet from that shop. Waited an extra month to get it. ("Oh, that shipped.") They couldn't get the rear mat cut right on two tries and I finally had it done locally. Still is too wide.
You'll find a few mystery pieces that go on small parts and, I'd expect, a couple of extras that aren't needed on your car. Most of it is pretty clear once you spot all the carpeted pieces like the tool cover, door panels, console sides, dead pedal, parking brake covers.
You'll find that nothing is fully trimmed to fit. It'll be cut to the basic shape and size, but you'll have to do the final tailoring.
Remove the front and rear seats and front and rear consoles to get enough access. Lots of pieces tuck under other parts to get a nice finished look.
3M Spray Trim Adhesive works well. You'll still need some tube stuff, too.
Took me about twenty hours to do the job.

New carpet?
Well, find the obvious pieces, and recover them first. Do a piece at a time...take your time doing it. Plan on doing a LOT of trimming! Odd pieces, such as the sections under the front seats, come later.
Good luck!
