Gretch, you nearly gave me a heart attack!! For a second I thought maybe your SC GT had been totaled. Good to hear it wasn't you but sad that another 928 has passed on.

Some nice thoughts...thanks. Gretch only gets out once in a while, knock on wood, she will live a long time......Sad to see any shark get crunched.

It looks like the bi-weekly accidents have stopped or atleast posting of them has.

Gretch - I saw the subject of your message, and I said "Oh NO". Glad you & Gretch are ok. Hate to see any shark go "tango uniform".

Steel he was on rt #1 Pacific Coast Highway parts of which still are a HIGHWAY. And it was teenage "kid" singular who suddenly decided to drop his board on the highway and "J-walk" across a three lane highway. Mike did a great job saving the kids life. The 928 protected Mike and his girl friend. You need not be going very fast to ruin a car. Those TV crash tests you see all the time are done at a MAXIMUM speed of 35 MPH Yes 35 MPH! It is all about what you hit. Posts and tree or kid Mike made the right choice.
