Default Sent Dashboard to Aussie Land.

Well, I haven't read anywhere here about somebody that has used Dashboard Restorations in Australia. So, I will be the guinea pig and try them. I sent them a spare dash I bought. It's black, has some cracks and the metal bar in the center is broken on one end. I sent a sample to color match my blue interior. I'll have it back in about 2 to 3 weeks tops. Will post pictures of it and let everyone know cost and if it will fit back into the car.

I need a dash overhaul too. Please let me know by PM if necessary what you think of their service.

bwebb77, have a address for them and it might be able to check them out for you. Are they located in Resvesby and have a workshop in majigold street? Please let me know when you can.

Cheers Greg

I have heard of them, they are supposed to be fairly expensive as far as dash resoration is concerned, I have another source for dash restoration in West Australia, I can supply details if anyone is interested. They gave me a price of Approx AU$400 for a dash with minor cracks and no distortion.

Hey Greg, the address is 6/4 Lancashire St. Acacia Ridege, Queensland 4110. The cost is AUD 348 which is about 266 USD. I have heard from other people who have used them that they do a good job, but these are not 928 dashes either. But if it turns out bad then it's not like I haven't blown that much money before. Who knows it made be the best thing since sliced bread.

Why PM? Why not post it here so that we call all benefit?

Beaut mate. But 2-3 weeks seems optimistic. Did you airfreight it, and how did you package it?

Voila!
Hope this turns out well for you.
My interests are strictly selfish... That Red 83' I found out in the boonies is in need of a dash make over.
At the price you mentioned for a dash recover/repair it will certainly be worth buying the sHARk for a miserly $2500.
Let us Know ... Puhleeeze!

Colin, I sent it FedEx 2 to 3 days. They got it yesterday. So we shall see. They will email me when it's ready to be shipped back.
