Clutch Probs - Rev
Just changed the clutch. Forward is fine. However, when backing up the whole drivetrain shudders until the clutch is fully engaged.
Any ideas.. Maybe a central plate adjustment problem? Thanks Sean |
I'd make sure everything is tight and let it break in for a few days.
What happens if you try to start up in second? |
Thanks Glen. I just returned from Minneapolis, and the Benson area. We are building a Turkey **** power plant there.

I recently put in a kevlar clutch and have the same vibration when the clutch is just starting to engage, if I am backing up or inching forward. I think it is that the new plates haven't had time to wear down and smooth out. It least that is what I am hoping. I will have my mechanic check it when he puts in the new master cylinder in a few weeks. If is something different, I will let you know.

I just finished putting in a Kevlar clutch and I have the same vibration when the clutch first starts to engage. I'll keep my fingers crossed
