Default Phil Tong says hi, needs tuning help

I just got a note from Phil. He is living in Hawaii and is still sans 928. However, he has a new ride and is looking for tuning help.

OK, I'm sure that is not Phil's ride but he did send me the shot.

Well, at least it's not sucking hot air from under the hood...

That's the new Acme Steath Fire Truck and Pumper!! There's a hose connection at the tail pipe. You put the car in reverse with the wheels off the ground and you can aim the nozzle with the steering wheel. Note the wide dispersion attachment.

It must be the answer to the rear mounted turbo for front wheel drive cars!
With all the dirt on the IC, looks like it's fundtional too.

Tooo funny!
Perhaps Herr Kuhns mobile testbed
Id like to see the TT.
2 big set of pipes like ram horns popping up and curving out from the hood!

I bet it works though..no problems with heat under the hood or replacing an airfilter!!

Looks like Brendans turbo placement issue has been solved.

Above the hood turbo is a novel idea.

Ya think that we could this top setup under one of those cowl hoods?

How difficult would it be to redirect the intake plenums outwards instead of inwards to afford more space up top so that the driver can actually see the road?

That's actually the first prototype for the DYSON vacuum cleaner line. Suck the brass buttons off a cops coat at 50 feet. HEPA filter included! Doubles for mosquito control and filling advertising blimps and childrens bouncing cages.

Do you think he got the inspiration for it from those guys that have a big GMC roots blower sticking out of the hood?

No lag like a rear mounted turbo. No underhood heat like a typical front mounted turbo. Exhaust blowing onto the front tire to heat it for increased traction. Clearly it was built by an automotive engineering visionary.

A great example of thinking outside the box... and the engine compartment.
