News Update,
Ok,guys this was what I did. I studied the wiring diagrams for the car and found out that the only relay that had alead heading back to the battery via, the ignition, the starter, alt, the terminal back to the central unit was the LHJetronic relay( 141.951.253.B ). I swaped it for the horn relay 141.951.253.B same part number and relay legs.
Before starting the car I checked the battery as I put it in the car it read 12.66v,@ the Alt 12.66v,@ the terminal 12.66v
When started 14.08v @ the battery, 14.20v @ the Alt,14.18v @ the terminal, so the system seems to be charging at the moment although the battery is @12.66 it has a hard time turning over the Engine I'll recharge the battery or maybe I'll change it for a deep cycle battery.

The voltages appear good ( although that never confirms a batteries CCA); however, that is inconsistent with having difficulty in turning the engine over. If the battery is @ 12.66v, it is pointless to return it to the charger. I do not think you have any need for a (marine type) deep cycle battery - if that is what you meant. Your climate should be pretty easy on starting cycles - when did you last shovel snow?
BTW, completely different subject - have you released the flex plate tension yet? This is a good thing to do .....

Well Garth ,
The nearest thing to snow here is the frost in the freezer, or the white sand beaches, As for the flex plate tension, I haven't had any problems there yet, but as we say here on the Island " Soon Come"

FWIW, I'm not too battery savy, but here is what I've gleaned from time on Rennist.

1. Wally has a list of 15 or 20 steps to cleaning all ground points. should do this prior to any further steps.

2. The exciter circuit on the alternater does not "excite" until you exceed 2300 rmps. I think this means you get no charging til you exceed this.

3. I have a new Interstate which has shown as low as 12.4 on the jump start poles and it has started strong in cool weather, say under 50 degrees. I do have a small drain and I charge with a Schumaker battery maintainer if I've been away longer than 2 weeks, and the highest I get is 12.6V
4. It sounds like your draini is large and that has to be fixed, but there's lots of discussion here about finding a drain and some mount a maintainer permanently b/c that is easier than clearing every last mA.

Waiting for the New Alt from Vertex Auto in Miami, The Alt that was on the car was putting out on 60 amps, and I don't know if it was the right Alt or not. So I've ordered the right one for the car, I'll keep you all updated when finished.
