Default Please help with quick tie rod end question

I am typing with geasy fingers, I'm under the car and I just installed my rack and tie rods. I placed the ends into the little arms, and when I tighten the nut on it, it tightens but then the inner part spins with the nut?? How do I tighten them tighter?

It's been a while, but if I remember it's kind like the balle joint. Somehow you need to load them with some tension. Once there'senough tension then you can tighten. If I couls see it, I could tell you. Sorry that's the best I can do.

IIRC I placed a jack under it and jacked up a little bit.

Thanks! When you said to load with tension, that's exactly what I thought of! I used my jack to create a little tension.
