Default 16V Cylinder Head Rebuild

I just received the Euro S motor (M28/11) I bought. I am going to pull the heads and intake for installation on a 5.0L bottom end and supercharge.

I am going to need the heads inspected/rebuilt etc. Any suggestions on who would be a good contact and a rough idea on price?

Since it will be forced induction, I don't think I need to be too concerned about polishing etc., however upgrading the valves, springs etc. may be worth it - unfortunately I am no sure what is available in the way of upgrades for this motor - anyone know?

Again, thanks to everyone on this board without whose help I would not have even been able to start this task.

I had my heads cleaned, machined, and valve seals replaced by a machine shop last fall. They charged me $140 for both.

Just a heads up: I think that the Euro Heads on a 5.0 bottom end may end up with a compression ratio high enough not to be well suited to supercharging. Mark Kibort or others familiar with this should jump in and confirm or deny this.

Thanks for the heads up. The 5.0 bottom end I am looking at is from a 85/86, which I understand would result in a lower CR than a later one. Also, if I am having to dish the pistons, that should also help reduce the CR

Valve guides to or just valve seals?

My M28/11 heads reworked w/guides/seals ect, were just shy of $500.00. I had prior PO stripped out holes and a couple of other screw ups fixed too, which were included in that cost. The shop is a well established "speed" shop that has a impeccable reputation. Shop around before turning your heads over to just any machine shop. IMHO, of course.

Anthony - where in TX are you located. And when you get a chance can you post or PM me info on that shop you used?
