Default Have all my warning lights on, HELP

Hi to all, all my warning lights are constantly on, the gauges all read correctly except the alternator. So I took the alternator off and had it bench tested. It's fine. My model is 1984, the warning lights are extinguished when the alternator is excited. The alternator reads a bit over 11 volts. How this happened was I pulled the dash out to do some repairs, it was perfect before. I can't remember doing anything wrong.

Also my windscreen squirters don't work, the relay is getting the signal but no squirt. When you by pass the relay it works fine. These relays have 6 pins, the stardard 4 and 2 small ones. One small one keeps the wipers going when the windscreen is squirted. The other I have no idea. The relay on the coil to pull the contact in appears to be open circuited. I'm not sure about this as I tried another relay and it didn't work either. Has anybody out there had these problems?

Thanks

I had this happen to my '95 and I did several things (simultaneously) that fixed it (for me)....What I think was the problem was a bad ignition switch (the inside part, just past the key recepticle)...about $35. I also took the dash apart and cleaned all the contacts with a pencil eraser, replaced questionable bulbs, and reset grounding straps. Hasn't been a problem in 3 years since. But I think the real culprit was the ignition switch. Getting the top (flat head) screw loose on that was a trial for me. I need smaller hands. Also, I did it without taking out the front seat...so my back still remembers.

Your problem is a little different so it could be something else.

That was an '85S that I have and not a '95....Freudian slip...sorry. Only in my dreams.

Thanks Harvey, what do we no about the master warning system? I'm thinking this might be playing up? Any takers for the windscreen squirters? Thanks.
