Default Scott Faragher's new Porsche Book

Some of you may remember several years ago Scott Faragher had started work on the ultimate book on Porsche 928s. Sadly, this book isn't that book ... the original publisher (English) thought it was to US-ified (what ever that means). The 928 book is still in the works and it is expected to be published in the future.

Scott sent me his latest book, titled "Porsche, the Ultimate Guide" ... Everything you need to know about every Porsche ever built. It is published by KB Books, 700 E. State Street, Iola, WI 549900-0001, 800-258-0929, ISBN: 0-87349-720-1.

Of the 224 total pages, 19 pages are dedicated to the 928. There are some nice pictures that Porsche provided. Anitole "Tony" Lapine and Mark Anderson are mentioned in the dedication, so Scott did get some expert input.

I would recommend this book to all. While it isn't the definitive book on the 928 ... fingers crossed for that to get published soon ... it gives the 928 a fair shake as the first original Porsche.

Default Where to get the book?

Mark Anderson, do you plan to stock the book?

Nicole, perhaps another book to offer through your channel?

It is already listed in Barns and Noble.

Scott is a great guy, BTW. He is in the process of moving from his home in Nashville to a farm about 50 miles out of town. I will take some pictures of him and his cars next time we visit. If you haven't already, you should read "Music City Babylon", his best seller of several years ago. Even if you don't care about country music, the really interesting reportage on the slimy underside of the music business is worth the read. Plus the dirt .. oh yeah!

Cheers,

Dave
