Pod Light Help - Please
Ok, I may be a little slow but I have spent a whack of time in the archives and can not figure this out. Also went through the manuals.
I have two wires at the rehostat. One has a female connector that is live all of the time and where it goes is obvious. The second has a male connection that goes hot when the lights are turned on. I can not find where this male connector goes. |
Okay - update
Obviously the female connector is the input and the male is the ouput from the rheostat. If someone can tell me where the male connects to the rheostat, I will be fine. Thanks |
The dimmer rheostat has two (2) terminal connectors.

As Randy says, the rheostat has two connectors on it both are male. There should be a blue/black single wire that provides power. The other side of the rheostat should have 2 blue/black wires. One goes to light up all the switches and the other feeds the cluster. This is the drivers side potentiometer we are talking about right?

Thanks - got it. One of the connector outlets had broken off of the rheostat. This is what confused me. For now, I have jumped the wire so that I have good lights. I will need to replace the rheostat or solder the one connector back. I may wait as I am considering replacing with LED's anyways.
Thanks again. |
