Found a 90 928 S4 for sale in Houston
Was driving home down Highway 6 today and saw a black S4 for sale in one of those Park and Sell lots. Stopped in and checked it out, here are the details:
Black with tan interior
118,000 or so miles
The car was listed at $14K but the guy there quickly told me he would let it go for $13K. Seems a little rough around the edges. Saw a couple of small dings on the passenger side door, the drivers seat was worn through at the bolster and the carpet was a bit worn out. Didn't notice any cracks in the dash but the A-pillar on the drivers side was warped a bit where it met the dash. Has service records back to about 96 or so. Has a recent timing belt change as well as the follow up check and re-tension. Seemed to drive alright but I don't have much to compare it to as this was the first S4 I've driven. Didn't seem to have the same punch as my 86.5 does but that may just be due to the automatic.
Just thought I'd throw it out here in case anyone is interested as I think I'm going to pass on it. I just didn't like the automatic at all. Just personal preference. No affiliation here just a heads up for any locals fishing for sharks
