Sharkskin, that's a good looking interior!

Now I see what everyone means about the different vent style. Interesting.

Thx... That's as-purchased, still looking decent from the PO detailing job in the first pic. The second pair of pics are immediately after the first leatherique treatment... so soon after that I forgot to put the switch ***** back in the pod!

The seats are very comfortable, but in need of some serious help. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a set or a pair of covers that I could use to restore them.

Anyway, AFIK that's stock for a non-sunroof US car, with the wide switch blank-off plate. IIRC euros have the hazard switch in the pod and the rear wiper in the console. I'm not sure what goes where I have my hazard switch in that case?

Yep - and the type of carpet as well as the color of carpet and seats also does not seem like original for the time - the "Sonderwunschprogramm" - wasn't in place at the time, eitiher.

Iraq? That's not an easy place to be.

My cousin returned last summer (he was in Mosul). He said he didn't realize how tense he was every minute of every day, until he was back in Europe.

At least it looks like your boy knows how to relax when the opportunity arises! Smiling and taking some photos - that's got to be good for the mind, you know? That's a great picture.

Tell him thanks for what he's doing from me and my family. An awful lot of people appreciate what he's sacrificing to be there. For that matter, we appreciate what your sacrificing, having him there. Thanks.

Here it is: I coloured it black long ago (Leatherique) and I'm keeping the switch surround (it's in there to ensure in storage the leather remains nice and perfect).
