Default Pod Switches

My rear defrost switch is off center. Is there an easy way to remove and rotate it? I had an 84 years ago and can't remember how I removed and replaced them. Seems like there was a trick to doing it.

Pull off the ****, straight towards you. Then there are two little prong gizmos that you can pry on gently with a screwdriver/pick. The switch will come out towards you. It's actually easier if you have the pod entirely off, and can push from the rear as you're working the little ears/notches through the pod. The switch definitely comes off towards you.

I believe the plastic signs at the end of the switches are removable, by that I mean you can pry it out and put it back in the correct position.
