Default 944 turbo rims on 928

Any one with any experience fitting 944 rims on a 928? Specifically Forgeline competition five spokes 8.5 and 9.5 from a 1986 944 turbo track car. I am building a 79 5 speed into a track car and need rims to fit race rubber.

Impossible to tell without knowing the offset of the wheels.

I suppose that the 86 944 rims has 23.3mm offset. And then it will not feet.

In 1987 and later the offsets were different, and since the wheels in question are aftermarket (the 951 never had 8½" or 9½" wide wheels) it is necessary to know.
