It's a great book Beth,

You did not tell how much you paid

I also bid on a couple of ebay offerings but with no luck. Man, they went through the roof. I saw one go for over $400!

I did get a copy though. I did a google search and found a thread on a UK Porsche 944 board where some guy said he had the book. He was asking if anyone else had ever read it. I couldn’t respond to the post because I was not registered, however I was able to lift his computers address. It was a work computer at the bank where he worked, so I emailed the bank a letter to him regarding the book, asking for my message to be forwarded to him. He was a real nice guy, and responded to me right away. I scooped the book in pristine cond for $70.

I still have not gotten around to getting one of Paul’s dust covers/show boxes. They do look great, and the book deserves it.

Cheers Beth

Hey Heinrick, how are you? Well I hope.

I have been trying to prioritize and complete a wack of work and household projects for mid spring. Should be a good time for a T-belt tension check and then a summer of shark.

Work has been nuts for months now, been on the road 14-16 days a month with no let up in sight . Hotel coffee is even starting to taste good

I've been lurking thought. I also have picked up a S4 front clip that I want to use to make a new nose for the 928. Real pumped about that one. Should be a lot of fun, just need to clear my books first.

Hi Beth,

that was about the going price last year. If I didn't scoop that UK copy, I would have surcome as well. One thing for sure, It is not going to fall in value any time soon.

Cheers,
Mike
