Hydro forming Exhaust Systems
During my professional motorcycle roadracing career we used exhaust systems that were hydro formed and once 'jigged' the expense was reasonable.
Not being a mechanical engineer (I took the telecom road) is it not possible to use this manufacturing method to form all types of 'pipes' that could be made for the 928 years and models or does the technique use a softer/ lesser thickness of metal that would not withstand the heat of the 928 post manifold heat?
