Good to meet many of the 928 faithful on Sat. My day(week) had gone badly, and Sat was even worse. In a beautiful case of what goes around, comes around, after hassling some guys for not taking the cars out in marginal weather, my 928 had a dead batt on Sat. So, I got there, but I was Porsche-less. Tres embarassing.
Been sick in bed for the previous three days with head cold, not feeling well even on Sat. So, I get to Hoots late, no Porsche, order the Chicken salad, it comes out with cold Chicken strips and wilted lettuce and cuces. Eat some Chicken(BIG mistake), send it back, and talk BS with the Porsche crew.
Check out cars, and talk with a lot of very nice and not at all stuck up Porsche owners. What a refreshing difference from the Ferrari get-togethers where I don't even rate! Steve gave me a try at finding his 'clunk' I think we can get it up on the Genie-lift and make some headway. Still feel like warm death, so time to go.
Go home, go to bed, wake up Sat evening and barely make it to the porcelain. WTF? So, Hoots poisoned me with a nice dose of Salmonella via the cold Chicken!(rat bastards). So, although I didn't literally PAY for the meal, boy did I pay for it later......
Anyway, back at work today, feeling somewhat better, 928 starts right up, found a light I was working on last week in the on position, and turned it off. I need to check my resting batt draw though. So my car has missed the past three meetings, I think some of the local crowd don't believe that I really own one, just a posieur! Next meeting I guarantee my car might be there, and you can take that to the bank. Hope everyone else that met this weekend doesn't come down with a cold, I was careful to wash my hands a lot and not sneeze or cough on anyone.
Thanks to all for braving the chill and damp.

Roger,
Surprisingly, I don't have any other pics of my 928. Thanks to you and all others who complimented her, and her side-moulding delete option. I realize that most Rennlist members prefer red or black on their 928's, but I enjoyed the variety of colors I saw amongst our group Saturday, especially the polar silver metallic on Jim's 93 GTS and the amazon green metallic 93 GTS euro...they were stunning. Next sunny day, I take some pics and post them. I look forward to our next "get together".

Dave,
My amazon green GTS is a Euro 1992 year and it will be only temporarily in the US. James owns the other only 1992 GTS. Mine is not federalized everything inside is metric, no rear AC, FULL leather (classic grey) and seat heating. Just a typical Euro car.

Justin,
I will be in Cleburne tomorrow (probably early afternoon)with the extra right front fender we talked about. I had a great time last Saturday. I enjoyed meeting each and every one of you that I hadn't met before and enjoyed renewing acquaintances with those I already knew. There were some very nice automobiles in that parking lot. I hope to be driving mine to the next one.
