Another Motor Mount Question
Just got back from getting the washers & nuts for the anchor motor mounts. I was suprised to find the thread is M12 x 1.75. Not 1/2"? Isn't the application for these mounts a Ford truck? Do I have the wrong mounts? Do I have the wrong nuts? If this has been covered previously sorry.

Greg,
That's exactly my experience - M12x1.75 required (M12x1.5 oem): I posted the same - to a wall of silence: apparently, SAE 1/2" NC works for most.
Many of the fastners on domestic vehicles are now a mixture of Metric and SAE, so no surprise that you encountered metric ( my Ford mounts were the 'made in USA' Corteco/Anchor ones as well).
You are on the right path ( as long as #2698 is stamped on the mounts and/or box.

I had the same experience as Garth with the the 2698 Anchor mounts (Made in USA). I had to use 12mm x 1.75 pitch nuts. I could not find locking nuts so I ended up using regular nuts and locking washers as did some other people here.
Oh, and I actually had one of Garth's posts in hand at the hardware store and told them it was either the standard measurement mentioned by some others or the metric measurement, so I did try both . . .

My anchors were the metric 12mm x 1.75 and put on the locking nuts which I got at the local Lowes store. Keep in mind that some of the anchor mounts are made in India and have a different profile than those made in the USA.
