Look at this lame comaprison between a 300zx ricer and the shark. It's ridiculous.

Perhaps the best analogy is it is like listening to someone talk about an ex-wife who left them...........when they are no longer enjoying the thrill of the experience.........

He makes some valid points but I don't care for the comparison. He is comparing two cars with different interpretations of what a GT is supposed to do well.
It annoys me when people compare cars from different eras. What if we compare and early 240-280 "Z" car (70-78) to an early 928 (78-86)? Or how about we compare a mid-model 280-300 ZX (79-89) to an S4, GT or GTS??
Then I grin when I consider the 928 is standing the test of time. We should definitely be proud to know people are comparing their newer more technologically advanced cars to ours.
I think he missed pointing out some serious strengths of the 928.
I like certain "Z" cars... early Z's (had a 280) and the 350Z. Not too fond of the 90's "Z" though. It looks like it's one step removed from the Dodge Stealth (ick). Hey... at least we got the Gremlin... by six+ degrees of separation thankfully.

I like the classic "Z" cars, my dad had one when I was growing up.....but even the new 350Z is not a Porsche, especially a 928.... Sure a 300ZX TT might beat a 928 in a drag race, but its just another "old Z" on the road! The 928 is timeless, the Z already looks dated
