Very Neat DOHC Engine screensaver/video
Found this cool screensaver over on a Subaru forum. It builds a DOHC 4cy, and then goes inside it to show the workings of a internal combustion engine.
For any novice not sure of how an engine "works" this little video is propably the best I have ever seen.
Many 928 similarities in this - but no pure 928 content.
Any ways, it needs to be downloaded to work. http://www.freebmw.net/don/nasioc/engine.exe
I do a little work in ProE 3D modeling to communicate with my machinists - I am a novice - so I truely appreciate all the 3d grasphics in this thing and how long it took to first draw all this stuff and then animate it too! Holy cow!

This is the nicest animation I have seen! Thanks for the link. It's kind of like 1/2 of our engines or more like a 944.
Do you know of a way to convert it to an application that can be paused etc?
It would be nice to be able to do that to show my boy, age 11, how the parts he had to clean for my S-4 rebuild go together and work. As it runs as a screensaver it's a little too fast and there is now way to pause it.
