I have seen a photo somewhere on the net of a 928 with Lambo style door lifts. It might have been on Phil's old site. Looked pretty cool to me.

Scary, I know...

You should know I like custom 928s, as well as other custom cars...

I would indeed consider these doors on a 928.
And have indeed researched it...
But when and if I build an exotic 928, it has to look cool,
not tacky. And I have seen enough 928s with body kits
to know that 90% of them look bad. But I think I can
do better. One of these days, when I have the time,
space, and money, I will bust out my rubber gloves,
modelling clay, and fiberglass, and come up with
something cool...

I think scissor doors or gullwing doors would look great on a 928. Think of the old Bricklins, those had gullwing doors too. Long nose cars do look pretty good with doors opening sky-ward.
Anyone working on fitting them?
