Twin Cities crew - help me out - My dad bought a car by you guys - site unsean.

If anyone can check this car out and let me know. I don't think my dad is planning on making the trip until next week so there is plenty of time. He can still back out of the deal (I think).

Sorry, I just saw your note just now. I could go look at the Boxster, but I don't know Sh%& about them. I'd just be looking at cosmetics and maybe fluid leves, and fluid color etc.
As for a visit. we are planning something is Sept. but I don't know when yet, Actually if you had a weekend that was best for you, you can pick the date. We are thinking of a Fun Run near LaCrosse and will probably have 4 -6 cars so far. (including a GTS!) More later. - Ruf

Looks like you know almost as much about Boxsters as my dad! If your able to look at the car, just look it over as if you were going to buy it. Paint condition, tire wear, seats, scratch wheels etc... stuff like that. If they let you drive it, go for it! Tell them your a friend of Bob Scharinger (dad) they should know his name since he put money down on the car.
I will probably be in your area sooner than expected to pick up the Boxster. I'll keep you guys posted.

Wow, blast from the past.
Bought the car, found out it was originally a gift from Cheryl Crow to Lance Armstrong. My parents put many happy miles on it, my avatar did a full 360 while navigating an on-ramp in the rain (no damage). We also took it to SIH
Currently in central Wisconsin, sold to buy a 355 Targa.
At least I think this is the one he bought, kinda difficult to remember with the link being dead.
