I guess the car didn't sell.
It was won by someone from the US, but either they didn't/couldn't pay, or the insurance company wanted more. If the insurance expect to get more, they are crazy. I suspect someone didn't do their homework on the car. 40k canadian was a solid price, honestly. After fees it was about 30K USD.
Thank you.

I can't tell you what the issues was, but it was a USA buyer. Maybe they realized it is a bit of a costly headache to bring the car over as well. I have seen sellers think their car is worth its weight in gold as well. Its crazy.
Hard to say.

I believe we got transport arranged. Its a pretty big deal to get all the paperwork in line and the bonds paid, etc. Cost about $1600 to get importation paperwork done and bond posted. Crazy. Now we still have to transport it home.

Hey Karsten.
In case you don't already know this Karsten dude, hes super awesome. For those of you who might not know, I repair Porsche cars with a few Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and McLarens mixed in as well. We do really nice work out in the high desert of Salt Lake City. Karsten has been helping me get some parts fixed that an old guy in Germany wouldn't do for people outside of Germany. He flat refused. I contacted Karsten on Shocki's recommendation and we're gaining traction. He didn't have to do this, in fact it would have been much easier to say: "I'll pass" or not reply. He also fronted his shipping money for the shipment in Germany. This dude is really that guy who helped me out of a pinch. Many thanks Karsten. This is what makes forums awesome. As always if anyone has something I can help with in Utah or West Coast, I'll always try.
Id say bureaucracy is worse. People try to develope treatments to erradicate cancer, but with taxes and bureacracy full steam ahead.....

Porsche is my hobby and my dad told me you ever met people two times or more in life and this is true!
We have 6 weeks to wait for the repair of the control unit but my part of this task is a little one. The repair shop owner in Germany is a nice guy but he hasn‘t
a testbed for 928 hvac units, only 911.
Last month I sold a set of D 90 wheels to a German Rennlist member and the packaging of the four boxes was annoying.
Next time I will do it per Spedition on a Euro palette. Same money for shipping but easier to handle.

Thank you again Karsten. Super nice of you to help out.
Yes. The market has grown in SLC to include a lot of exotic cars. We do some very nice work on most all marks, but our passion is sports cars, especially Porsche. We service Audi R8 cars as well since they are VERY similary to the Lambo products in many cases. We don't know the old Lambos, but from about 2000 and up we service a few. They are decent cars. A lot better than they used to be.
