SITM headcount????
 

Hey folks, who all is going to SITM??????????????? I know CHristine and I are definitely going. Luckily, we've had our reservations at the Holiday Inn in beautiful Banner Elk, N.C. for awhile now. I can't wait to see everyone again, and to see who's done what to their cars since last year. Also sounds like we might have a few supercharged 928's there as well. I hope we get to see one of Andy Keel's great twin screw set-ups. We'll see you all in June!!!!!!!!!

Lets start a rendevous in northern Va. Say Staunton, off I-81 (as per last year) Friday morning circa 9-10ish...

Definitely, I and Sherri (my wife) are going. In fact she volunteered to drive the S4, so we will have two 928s there. We were planning on leaving Thurs nite from the Atlanta area then spend the night in Nashville. Cruise on over in the AM on Friday. But if anyone wants to caravan on Friday AM from the Atlanta area(Acworth) we're flexible in our plans. Plan on seeing you there Chris.

Hi All,

I'm planning to attend...will be my first 928-specific event since buying the s4 last Fall...and therfore my first SITM. :D :thumbsup: I'm really looking forward to the trip and the event! Well...everything except paying the exhorbitant price for the premium unleaded the shark will be guzzling... Currently $2.15 to $2.29/gallon in North Florida :D :biggulp:

Anyone else driving up from North and/or Central Florida? I heard from Jeannie that her friend Samantha from Tampa may be interested in the caravan! Let's plan a caravan! :burnout:

Update (5/25/04) - I finally got my room reserved last week for the Holiday Inn...phew! My 928-supportive wife decided that the LONG trip didn't agree with her and our 2 y/o son...bummer! So, I will be swinging through North GA (Dalton area) to pick-up my Dad. This will be his first German auto enthusiast meet and his first SITM! :)

I'll be there. Not sure if the 88 S4 will be ready in time, but the 83S 5-spd is running SWEEEEEET if it's not! I'll be dragging Jay Kempf along who is tentatively scheduled to fly to DC and drive down with me. Two of my former sharks will also be there along with my brother Robert (Zinnmetallic 83S AT, first SITM for car and driver) and Doug Meick (Weissgold 86.5S AT, first SITM for Doug, 2nd for the car).
