I had the pleasure to meet Rich during my business trips to Atlanta a few years back. He took me to a secret garage where he stored a few very unique 928s, including a pearl white 91 928 S4 Strosek. I will never forget that day!
RIP, Richard! |

I'll need to find out how this changes that effort... |
Somebody on Facebook is selling Rich's inventory.
Anybody here have a link? Kevin |
Damn

Could be this ad? Maybe some of his fraud victims can ID some of these cars.

Could be - too bad I couldn't contact the poster.
Last I heard they were transported to Toccoa, GA. |
I bought out most of his inventory. Still sorting out exactly what i have. Not listed anything on facebook.

I was at his outdoor place on the Horse farm Sandy owned or leased. Richard had about 30 928s there, I took some photos, he asked me then to not share the photos as it could add to mis/dis information. He was always good to me and we had a good rapport. The engine he provided to me sadly was one of his broken models which I spotted the breakage on the spot, he said we can pull the motor out of the white car and he would give me that one but that would take 2-3 days -- time which I did not want to spend and I felt that would be a shady deal, sometimes taking the short end of the stick is good for the long-run. May his family be filled with love and joy remembering RVM, I considered him a friend. RIP Richard.

People get taken in all the time by cons... They often have personalities/pathologies that seem innocent and like they are doing you a favor. I've been gullible myself on occasion. NO more! |
Ethical or not. The con moves back and forth.

I'm looking for an red 87 auto partially taken apart for paint. It belongs to a friend of mine. Last seen at Rich's shop off McFarland. He has the title.
You all can wax poetic about Rich, but he was sh!theel. I added up how much money he stole from his friends and customers and got to $100k pretty quickly. And that's only what I know of. I figure you can double that number if you add in the folks that are too embarrassed to admit he screwed them. Kevin |

I think I found what's left of the owner's car. I'll know for sure later this week when the owner looks at the VIN on his title.
