Default B2 brake band replacement

Hi there. I have taken out my transmission. The B2 brake band piston has broken at the 6 tangs which allow fluid passage,Merc. part#1262770538. Does anyone know of the upgraded B2 piston part# and where I could source it from? No luck over here! There is also a plastic sleeve which goes into the transmission case-to prevent any binding-. Thanks to all that gave me advice on my slippage. Mike.

If it's a trans part, it's half the price of Porsche if you buy it at the MBZ dealer.

I'm sure Steve C. will weigh in on this at some point, he is the transmission guru.

Perhaps it's available through Fatsco - the 400 lb gorilla of trans parts wholesale (or so I've been told). But it might be the same price at the MBZ dealer.

Good luck and wait for Steve's response....
