Default Anyone want a nice GT??

Check it out......very nice, great color combo.......IMO.....don't know
anything more about it though......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...474179384&rd=1

True GT, but billed pretty much like an S4.....

Look at the wood, dash, shifter, door panels!
Body colored wheel centers.
Deviated seat piping.
Looks like leather covered seat switches, door pulls, etc.....

Anyone spot anything else??

Somebody grab it before one of our favorite "brokers" nab it.......unless you like paying 5K more for the same car in the future.......

But Mike, the brokers are helping to keep the value of our cars up where they belong!

sorry, had to try saying it myself.

Before someone else does... it ain't worth diddly without a PPI! That being said, very interesting.

If anybody is --seriously-- interested in this car, I might be able to do a visual PPI for them this weekend. I have to go down that way to get my car out of storage this weekend sometime.

Perhaps another SoCa928 member in Huntington Beach would be closer? Anyway, the car looks good in the pictures.

PM me if you are seriously interested.

Looks like a VERY high spec unusual 928. It's also currently the last 1990 GT/S4 built....

1990-1991 928 listing page

BTW, not sure on the color, does anyone know for sure?

True Chuck, I bet the cost was close to $90k for this thing when new. Probably one of the most high spec GT's I've seen.

I don't know what the color is either.......doesn't look standard. Looks too light for Midnight Blue, not Amazon either, almost looks like a combo of Amazon Green and Midnight, with a touch of Adventurine Green thrown in for good measure!

The jumper post cover is missing; but then "it never rains in southern
California" sure looks nice, but he obviously cares a whole lot more about the interior than the engine.

The cover appears to be laying on top of the radiator. Agree the engine looks a little dusty.......might have been stored a while......probably had to jump it to get it out.

This will be fun one to watch. I contacted the seller to see what he wanted to get for it and maybe swing a deal but he said he wanted to honor the bidding process. "IMHO" if a PPI checks out it should fetch $25k plus.

Car looks gorgeous, but if I want to be picky, I'm not sure if I like the wheels painted the same color of the car. Shiny wheels would be better me think.

Agree. With a good PPI, from what I have seen in past auctions with these low mileage primo examples........I wouldn't doubt if it went for around $28K - $30K.

Mike my old friend,

I didn't realize that you had already started a post on this topic. I'll tell ya' what Mike, I'm gonna buy this car just for you! I'm gonna sit on it for about 3-4 months and then relist it when its really hot around mid July on Autotrader for roughly $30-35K. I may even, just for ****s and giggles, put it right back on Ebay, just for you! I'm just doing my part to keep the value of these cars up! Someday you'll thank me! But since you seem to be so opposed to high resale values on these cars, I would like to go out on a limb here and purchase your old '90 GT for the Kelly Blue Book price of $12,900 and then turn around and sell it for $12,900. This way, there will be no hard feelings between us and together we will achieve the ultimate goal of selling these wonderful cars for their actual book value. I can wire the $12,900 into your account as early as tomorrow morning and would like to pick the car up sometime this week. Please get back with me asap as I don't want to miss out on this very fair deal!
