For me is the Spoiler an safety improvement for the cars but I like the S Model with wheel spacers and bigger wheels.
I have my 16 „ wheels in the barn. We change brakes to the S4 brake and put The S4 Style sport seats in the car. It´s all about classic performance without destroying the Body. Late seats have a better fit for tall people. My focus is on driving not concours . |

Beautiful cars, both the red in the first post and also this white! Related to the white: what size and especially offset are the rear wheels? Any work at the body necessary to fit? Thx and sorry for hijacking!
bernd Front wheels are the 16" 928 fitment so 16x7 et 65. Rear wheels are the 944 Turbo / 951 versions - 16x8 et23.3. No spacers at either front or rear. Fitment at the rear is tight and required rolling and slightly flaring the renders for clearance. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...57695ead22.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...79b72b52d7.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...e33f01a7c1.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...571f541326.jpg |

Phone dials arrived and dropped off at a wheel place I’ve never tried for restoration. Owner is a Porsche nut so let’s see…

Wow!! That looks a 1000x better!
Great job on the wheels. Glad they worked out. |
I can’t tell you how much better the car runs on 16’s than 18’s. Completely different. Just the chin spoiler left to take off and I think it’s done.
today in Miami at the design district, surrounded by much more expensive cars, exotics, etc yet everyone was staring, taking photos, videos etc. Timeless work of art. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...2be78891a.jpeg |
Indeed a work of art and design~ Cant wait to take my added spoilers off (1979) and get the tele's on! Summer drive 2021 will happen!
