Default Laminova oil Coolers

Hi Everyone, These pics of the oil coolers are for you to see. I will use 2 of the ones on the upper right for oil cooling on my project.

Thanks,

I'm assuming those are liquid cooled? If so are the tapped into the engine cooling or a seperate tank & water pump?

Hacker,

I am replumbing the cooling system due to my radiator mods. I will have two AN-20 lines out of the engine rad, merging at a Y junction to enter the block in the center front as it does now. However, in the lines, the two Laminova coolers are connected in series on one AN-20 Kevlar Line. The other line is for the trans cooler, and will loop around to under the passenger side headlight, and return along the bottom then up on the driver's side and into the "Y" then into the block.

Difficult to explain, but I will post pics when done.

Why are you doing this?

What 'radiator mods' prompted a complete revamping of the cooling system?

Contrary to the omnipresence that I may exhibit at times, I don't read *every* post.

So he's what - swapping in a big-block VW motor ?

Richard,

Very good. I think you'll like them alot. Got a couple of cores a coupla years back, and they have all sorts of potential apps.

Can't wait till I get around to using them myself.
