anyone have any ideas where I can get the Porsche crest that goes on the engine ? Mine is missing so I need to replace it.

I was told by one of the Big 3 that they use the hood crest and grind off the two posts. That's what I plan to try. Mine fell off sometime last year.

I can give you a used hood crest, if you want to try that route.

David - I will buy it off of you. Just let me know when and where to pick it up. Any suggestions as to what adhesive to use ? Not quite sure myself due to the heat involved.
As I am new owner of this car, I believe I am going to start by trying to detail the engine bay 1st. The interior and exterior are in pretty good shape and though the maintenance has been done on the engine, it needs alot of good polishing and a few things here and there. As most people want to see the engine, I think I will start there.
a few hundred hours of elbow wax and a crest might just have it up to par again.
Tho after seeing your engine pics, I doubt I get it that good
