I want to avoid Wisconsin and its 65 mph speed limit. But alas... It's not reasonably possible... Cauzzzz - - - Loueee don't approve of such slo-motion rollin...

If I take a northern route and don't meet up with Steve in Minneapolis... Hmmmmm... Nope, that ain't gonna happen, 911 user look out! I'm sticking to the plan!

65 it isn't, and Wisconsin can suck eggs if I'm gonna go 65!

Kowabunga!

If any of you guys need a place to crash, I am over in Montana, between Great Falls and Helena.
Plenty of room and great fishing.

PS- That map is incorrect. 80mph in MT. The canyon where I live is a hell of a road, as well.

Oil cooler lines off (finally) underside cleaned up. Power steering line arrived, will pull old line off tomorrow. Oil cooler lines off to rebuilder Monday.
Two weeks to go.
To replace:
Oil cooler lines
Power steering pressure and reservoir lines
Oil change
Engine harness

Its going to be close....

All so easy.

What can go wrong?

Meanwhile I have my secondary AC condenser pulled out, adding ad-hoc vibration isolation mounts to it.

If I could come to the event in one of my Navions I would do the fly by for the group. I'll bet Jeff would be glad to join me in his aircraft. That would be a cool fly by.

I won't be bringing my car to the event, going to ride with a buddy in his Jeep. Took mine on a couple hundred mile trip this weekend and it needs more attention than I have time for. A/C crapped out, for some reason it wants to go totally lean at 3krpm and one of my newly refinished wheels decides it wants to leak air. Oh, and it's running hotter than it ever has in the past. Not alarmingly so, but enough I don't want to take it on a long trip to the middle of no where and have a tech session on the road. Also, on edit, hit a bump and some ground on a corner flaked out and got an ABS/Brake pad warning, easy find i'm sure, but screw it. Apparently it does not like sitting as long as I've let it. A new jeep sounds like a fun ride.

The fun part was after putting it back in, a test drive with it ALL put back in...

Found something on the road that tore up the liner, and punctured the condenser.

Hmm.

Well, GB had a replacement..not too hard to fix...just..ugh..and I have another liner in storage...and Ill have to get the fender re-wrapped with Xpex. Twice that stuff has saved my paint.

Got the AC charged on Loueee today... Nice n cold but we did not find the leak...

Looking forward to getting to know him on a long trip. Wonder what kind of gas mileage he will get?

Loueee's new plate has not arrived and might have to drive with a temporary tag, not the best, but legal...
