Default What are the current luggage cover options

What are the current options for a rear luggage cover in the cashmere/tan color? I would need all of the hardware to go with it as well. Ideally, delivered within two weeks.

There is a seller on ebay offering luggage covers that look decent. Not sure if they would do tan - I thought the stock colors were black, blue, brown and burgundy.

Thank you for the leads. I'm leaning toward a leather, or leather look, cover in tan just because everything else inside the car is tan (seats, dash, headliners, doors, everything). A large black cover in the back would look out of place to me.

I'll have to make some calls and see who can make what for me.

Heads-up on using a reflective non-dark luggage cover -- the reflection in the rear-view mirror may be objectionable especially on sunny days. If the hatch glass isn't tinted, it's even worse. I recommend that you try a sample of the color and material you are thinking of, maybe sitting on something that brings it up to normal installed height. With car in the sun, decide if you can live with the reflections.

I discovered this almost accidentally when I draped a car cover over some stuff in the boot for a trip. I didn't want to subject the then-original cover fabric to hiding-the-clubs duty. That decision was reversed quickly.

Contact Sandra Amberg in Stuttgart--Schnelle-Kurve@t-online.de--she made mine in a few days after I ordered it. Beautiful and used all Porsche parts. Here is a sample:

She can make it in vinyl, alcantara or leather, with or without logo.

Highly recommended.

One of our listmembers in the Chicago area was making some pretty popular replacements. Search Is Your Friend

I got one from his as well that came with my 89.

It is a very good piece, but it is in white in my case. I would have like it in navy to match the carpet but eh, C'est la vie.

I have seen a few aftermarket versions and MrMerlin's guy Rich Guzman does great work, With that said: Cargo covers are not very difficult to make. I bet many local interior trimmers or even seamstresses would do the job for you. I made a pretty nice facsimile myself for about $50 on a consumer sewing machine.

Where are the attachment points on the rear seats supposed to be located? Underneath the upper “lip” portion?
